Recently it was reported that some VIPs from India had to go through special screening at an airport. A lot of hype was created in the media. It was reported that the VIPs has been mistreated. How can such people perform dawah, the task of conveying God's message to people? Both the VIPs were Muslims. How can Muslims with this mindset perform dawah? I too had to undergo a similar experience at an airport. A policeman took me to a separate cabin. They screen you with a special equipment. I took off my shoes, in a very normal manner. While I was coming out of the cabin, the policeman said thank you to me. My companions who were standing nearby had a Quran translation, which they gave to the policeman. He accepted it with great respect. If you become angry at people, how will you perform dawah with them? I took my screening with a normal mind. I didn’t express hatred. I too said thank you to the policeman. He thus developed a soft corner for me and my companions. When my companions gave him the Quran, he accepted and I am certain that he would read it. You need to have dawah etiquette. 
                    You should have immense love for humanity and speak in the contemporary manner. Your language should be according to the modern idiom. Your books should be according to the contemporary standard. Our mission is engaged in a task which is most urgently needed -- the task of dawah. We must perform it with greater zeal and full energy. There is no task more important than this. Dawah is the only task which will make you most deserving of God's blessings in the Hereafter. The Quran refers to dawah as God's work.
